Privacy Policy

for the Chrome extension "Clean YouTube Sub Feed"

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Summary: This extension does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data. It runs entirely locally in your browser.

1. Data Collection and Processing

This extension does not collect any personal data. No analytics or tracking tools are included, no cookies are set, and no data is transmitted to any third-party or developer server.

2. How It Works

The extension runs entirely locally in your browser. On the page youtube.com/feed/subscriptions, a content script visually hides certain sections (including "Most relevant" and "Shorts"), so that only the chronological list of subscription uploads remains visible. No content is read, stored, or transmitted anywhere - the extension only changes the local display of the page in your browser.

3. Permissions

The extension requires access to content on the youtube.com domain (via the "content_scripts" permission in the manifest), solely to make the local page adjustment described above. No further permissions are requested - in particular, no access to browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, or other websites.

4. Storage

No data is stored, either locally or on a server. The extension does not use the chrome.storage API or any other storage mechanism.

5. Sharing With Third Parties

Since no data is collected, no data is shared with third parties either.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy will be updated accordingly if the extension's functionality changes in the future. The current version is always available at the URL listed in the store entry.
